Beach
Playa del Cristo in Estepona is ideal for children because it is a sheltered bay with shallow, warm and clear water that is ideal for young children and for swimming without a swimming certificate. There are no rocks, the sand is fine and there are two beach bars (chiringuitos) and a marina nearby for entertainment and amenities.
Tips with children for less beautiful weather (if beach and pool are not an option)
About halfway along the promenade of Estepona there is a large playground for children all year round. In addition, playgrounds have also been built in several places on the beach, interspersed with places with fitness equipment (on the beach). Playgrounds have also been built in most of Estepona’s parks (for example in Parque de la Constitucion in the center – the former market area).
