Estepona has so much nature around. Look at this picture by Kevin Airey:
It took me a while but on Christmas Eve 2020 I ventured up past Casares and on towards Gaucin to a viewpoint I knew of to take this image at sunset. It is several shots stitched together to make what could be an amazing and large landscape print.
It looked like the light was not going to be on my side, but for just a few moments it started to change and plain blue skies met pink and orange hues out over the Mediterranean Sea.
This view takes in the pine forests, down into the misty valley and the main focal point was the Sierra Crestellina mountain in Casares. The image in the distance shows the coastline and those who look carefully will even see the top of Gibraltar.
