It\u2019s one of the biggest Malaga events and one we get lots of questions on. To answer them, we thought the best thing was to create a Christmas in Malaga FAQs blog post. What about the famous light and sound shows?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, 500 streets, plazas, and roundabouts in Malaga city as well as its iconic monuments will be illuminated by about 2.2 million LED lights. The lights will be switched on every day at 6.30pm. They will be switched off at midnight from Monday to Thursday, as an energy-saving measure, and will remain switched on until 2.00am from Friday to Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 24th and 31st December 2023, the lights will remain on until 6.00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas lights in the Botanical Gardens 2023<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christmas garden returns to the lovely\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guidetomalaga.com\/see\/malaga-landmarks\/botannical-gardens-in-malaga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">botanical gardens<\/a>\u00a0for another year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turn a natural area into an enchanted Christmas forest where you can stroll and delight with the magic created by lights, sounds and nature.
